About the RoleThe Director of Engagement Management will be responsible for growing and managing a team of Engagement Managers and Project Directors focused on successfully deploying our product solutions in our Healthcare practice. In addition, the Director will work with our product strategy and management teams to ensure we're developing the right service offerings to meet the needs of our customers. The Director will work with sales leadership to develop business through positioning and selling services for new and existing customers. The Director will be measured on customer retention, customer satisfaction and revenue and margin goals.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Hires, develops and retains a team of highly skilled Engagement Managers and Project Directors dedicated to delivering the Workday suite of products including but not limited to HCM and Financials and ensuring customer satisfaction with the Workday solution.
- Ensures that Engagement Managers and Project Directors are meeting standards set forth in Workday's implementation methodology.
- Works across organizations to ensure we have a clear strategy and messaging regarding the role Workday and our partners will play on Workday deployments.
- Works with our Alliances and Partner Operations team to ensure our partner organizations are prepared to support our customers.
- Engages with our Enablement and PMO team to help prioritize and ensure the completion of strategic initiatives key to making the Healthcare practice a success.
- Serves as an Executive Sponsor on customer projects.
- Works with Resource, Consulting and Integration Managers to staff projects and act as an escalation point for project staffing issues.
- Aligns with the Regional Sales Team to ensure we're properly positioning and selling our implementation, technology and education services and develop new subscription and professional service business; this includes active participation on prospect/customer opportunities.
- Serves as the escalation point for resolving customer implementation issues.
- Promotes a collaborative atmosphere that encourages others to innovate, continuously improve the organization, and bring their best.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional services experience focusing on HCM, Payroll or Financial software applications in Cloud SaaS/ ERP environments.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience supporting direct reports.
- 3+ years of Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience managing and developing engagement managers in a matrix environment supporting multiple concurrent customers.
- Experience positioning and selling professional services while working with software sales teams.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience as an Executive Sponsor on project deployments.
- Experience successfully growing and managing a $30 million professional services organization.
- Accurately estimate effort and resources required to complete the project.
- Ability to balance supporting their team and customer demands along with aggressive revenue and profitability objectives.
- Teammate who will work across the organization and company to continue improving the way we serve our customers.
- Excellent organizational, collaboration, mentoring, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Willingness to 'roll up one's sleeves' and assist wherever needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed – up to 50%.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $193,900 USD - $290,900 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $184,200 USD - $327,200 USD

If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $193,900 - $290,900 USD based on min and max pay range for that role if performed in CO.
