We are seeking a highly technical Solutions Engineer with a strong background in robotics, autonomy, or industrial automation. This role is critical to onboarding new robotics customers, translating complex technical capabilities into business value, designing tailored solutions, and enabling adoption of our physical AI models.
Responsibilities- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary technical SME during customer engagements from the mid-funnel onwards.
- Custom Solutioning & Presentation: Collaborate with Account Executives and Engineering to understand project requirements and craft customized technical presentations, contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and solution proposals highlighting the value proposition of TorqueAGI's foundation models.
- POC / Pilot Support: Provide technical leadership and support for customer POCs and pilots, ensuring successful implementation, performance validation, and clear articulation of outcomes.
- SOW Development: Work with sales, legal, and engineering to draft detailed SOWs and proposals defining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
- Technical Due Diligence & Objection Handling: Address technical questions from highly technical stakeholders, demonstrating understanding of challenges and how TorqueAGI provides a superior solution.
- Feedback Loop to Product: Gather technical feedback and market insights to inform product roadmap development.
- Internal Enablement: Help create internal knowledge artifacts to bridge GTM and Product teams.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Technical Expertise (3+ years): Demonstrated experience with robotics systems, autonomy, or industrial automation; understanding of AI/ML concepts related to physical systems; proficiency in Python and C++.
- Robotics Fundamentals: Familiarity with ROS or similar frameworks; experience with sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs).
- Experience in Solutions Oriented Roles (1-3 years): Proven experience in a Solutions Engineering or Technical Consultant role for B2B software or deep-tech products; ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions; strong presentation skills; experience creating technical documentation and SOWs.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong analytical skills and a customer-centric approach; resourceful and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams (sales, product, engineering, leadership).
- Experience with foundation models or large-scale AI models in practical applications.
- Domain knowledge in TorqueAGI's target industries (e.g., agriculture, mining, construction, defense).
- Prior experience in seed-stage or high-growth startup environments.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong analytical skills and a customer-centric approach; resourceful and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience in Solutions Oriented Roles (1-3 years): Proven experience in a Solutions Engineering or Technical Consultant role for B2B software or deep-tech products; ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions; strong presentation skills; experience creating technical documentation and SOWs.
