THE ROLE

As our Senior Innovation Engineer - Electrical Design at Skytree, you will develop electrical systems for the Skytree CO2 capture machines, with a focus on power electronics and new product development. You will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, conduct analysis, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations to deliver innovative CO2 capture machines.

Your experience will help create reliable and efficient electrical systems that meet the requirements of our customers and contribute to the overall success of Skytree's CO2 capture machines.

YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• Developing and designing electrical & control (sub)systems for our one-of-a-kind DAC equipment

• Being involved in product innovation and new product development from an electrical engineering perspective

• Creating detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation

• Conducting thorough analysis and calculations to ensure optimal electrical design and efficiency

• Selecting and evaluating electrical components and subsystems to meet product requirements

• Working on debugging and launching new prototypes of Skytree CO2 capture machines

• Performing electrical simulations and modeling for system validation and optimization

• Preparing necessary documentation, reports, and test plans for certification purposes

• Executing root cause analysis on prototype models, helping out with improvements on the design

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

• At least 6+ years proven experience in electrical design engineering, including new product development

• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations

• Experience with power electronics and high power electrical design(LV range)

• Very good calculation and analysis skills

• Expert knowledge of EPLAN for 2D as well as 3D (Pro Panel) design, incl. macro's, labeling/numbering, cable mgt. et ecetera

• Proactive, self-motivated, and hands on approach to work

• Professional proficiency in English

• Living in Poland and willing and able to work in-office in the Katowice region

• The ability to occasionally travel to The netehrlands and possibly other locations within the EU
