Pay: $ $38.00/ Hour

Pediatric Dental Associates is seeking a passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Bethlehem, PA. As an EFDA, you'll assist the dentist in procedures such as restorations, extractions, and root canals, take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. We value a friendly, empathetic approach to patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the dentist during procedures
  • Performing expanded functions including restorations, extractions, and root canals
  • Taking and developing dental X-rays
  • Managing patient records
  • Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
  • Educating patients on oral health

Qualifications:

  • Current EFDA licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Radiology certification
  • CPR certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in pediatric dentistry
