We're looking for a freelance Technical Director (TD) – AI Pipeline to join our creative and technical team for a 1-month remote project, with the possibility of continuation based on performance. You will work at the heart of our R&D area, developing, integrating, and optimizing AI-powered workflows applied to creative production and animation. This is a strategic opportunity for professionals who want to work at the intersection of technology and art, building innovative solutions that accelerate and enhance creative processes through intelligent automation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage AI models (e.g., LLMs) for accelerating scriptwriting, dialogue creation, procedural assets, and more;
  • Integrate tools like ComfyUI, Forge, Wan and others into 3D software workflows (Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine);
  • Create workflows, scripts and automations for generating content such as textures, environments, and animations;
  • Develop custom tools to support creative teams with features like storyboard generation, text-to-scene previews, and animation automation;
  • Provide technical support to art teams during the implementation and use of AI tools;
  • Document workflows and train teams on the proper use of AI-powered solutions;
  • Research and experiment with new AI technologies to continuously improve the creative pipeline;
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including animation, writing, design, and engineering.

Requirements
  • Solid experience working with AI in creative or animation-related projects;
  • Technical knowledge of ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, LLMs, and other generative AI tools;
  • Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation in 3D environments;
  • Familiarity with 3D production software such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, or Unreal Engine;
  • Experience integrating AI into creative production pipelines;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and creative teams.
  • Knowledge of the audiovisual and artistic industry is essential;
  • Portfolio submission is mandatory to demonstrate previous relevant work.

Nice to Have
  • Experience developing custom tools for creative teams;
  • Background in R&D or innovation projects involving generative AI;
  • Active participation in open-source or AI communities such as Civit.AI, Hugging Face, etc;
  • Previous work in animation, game development, or creative studios;
  • Knowledge of LoRA, ControlNet, Checkpoints, Diffusers, Workflows, etc.

Additional Information
