Vistex Functional Consultant

The Vistex Functional Consultant plays a key role in the successful implementation of Vistex solutions within SAP environments. They collaborate with clients to understand business needs, configure SAP systems accordingly, and support the end‑to‑end implementation lifecycle. This role involves blueprinting, process mapping, data modeling, and working with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of SAP add‑on technologies (solution extensions) on projects for the Agribusiness Industry in Brazil.
• Provide on‑site and remote consulting services to Vistex customers implementing Vistex products and solutions.
• Participate in execution of project deliverables such as blueprint workshops, documentation, specifications, configuration, and testing/training support.
• Represent complex business processes in SAP MM using solution extensions.
• Conduct workshops to gather and document business requirements into blueprints.
• Identify and document all required FRICEW objects (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows) during project realization.
• Execute configuration of Vistex solutions.
• Support integration testing and provide expertise in defect resolution.
• Participate in post‑go‑live support including critical care and knowledge transfer.
• Perform quality assurance on configured systems and prepare documentation for customer support.
• Learn and gain expertise in current and emerging Vistex product offerings.
• Conduct system setup, data migration, and integration activities.
• Actively contribute to phases including Business Blueprint, Conceptual Design, Realization, Cut‑over, Go Live, and Post‑production support.
• Prepare solution documents such as FUT and SIT.
• Conduct integration tests, UAT, and training sessions.
• Perform project documentation aligned to milestones.
• Mentor associate functional consultants and coordinate deliverables.
• Support test processes and maintain testing documentation.
• Understand upstream/downstream process impacts including master data, sales, and finance.
• Ensure adherence to solution delivery best practices and quality standards.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field.

Experience – Required

5 years of proven success in project implementations, rollouts for software projects involving SAP solutions native or integrated.

Strong process knowledge in industries such as Agribusiness or Manufacturing.

MM Consultant certificate is required.

Excellent communication, client handling, and documentation skills.

Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and adaptability in fast‑paced environments.

Available to travel up to 50% if needed.

Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, Visio) and testing tools.

Preferred

Experience with Farm solutions is plus.

Experience in Agribusiness is plus.

Knowledge of ABAP fundamentals, debugging, and enhancement frameworks will be a plus.

Experience with Vistex solutions and prior consulting roles in major firms (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte) is a plus.
