What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Manage application processes, including verification, preliminary analysis, and identifying potential issues
  • Maintain timely communication with applicants and member organizations regarding application status
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with expiring information such as licenses and certifications
  • Prepare credential files accurately for audits and submissions to assigned facilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing credentialing workflows and participate in special project teams
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in a Credentialing Verification Organization or similar setting
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification required
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers

  • Knowledge of credentialing software and associated applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to enhance operational efficiency
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to credentialing practices
