Why does the team need you?

Infraspeak's Brazil operation is booming, resulting in an increasing number of customers and growing complexity in financial processes.

We are looking for a driven Accounting Specialist based in Brazil to lead the local accounting function and enhance our financial reporting capabilities. Working closely with the FinOps team and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be the key expert on Brazil accounting standards and tax regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting Infraspeak's continued growth in the Brazilian market

What will you do?

• Ensure compliance with all Brazilian tax laws, accounting standards (BR GAAP), and audit requirements.
• Lead local audit, working closely with internal teams and external auditors.
• Support tax regime optimization, including potential transition to Lucro Real and transfer pricing considerations.
• Own financial reporting and regulatory submissions for Brazil, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement and optimize finance systems and integrations, such as Conta Azul or similar tools.
• Collaborate with global finance and executive teams to support decision-making and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while supporting long-term scalability in the region.

What do we expect from you?

• Experience in finance, accounting, or audit — ideally starting in a Big 4 firm.
  
• Strong command of Brazilian tax legislation, compliance, and Lucro Real regime.
  
• Previous experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments
  
• Hands-on experience improving financial processes and systems.
  
• Advanced proficiency with accounting/ERP platforms (Conta Azul experience is a plus).
  
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
