Job Responsibilities

1. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform services (CI/CD, observability, IaC, secrets management)
• Drive standardization through golden paths and reusable tooling
• Own platform reliability, scalability, and automation efforts
• Enforce security and compliance best practices via pipelines and policy-as-code
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives

2. Key Relationships

• Reports to: Platform Engineering Manager or Director
• Works closely with: Platform Engineers. Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Security & Compliance
• Acts as technical lead across squads for platform initiatives

3. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD)
• Hands-onwith cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP/Oracle bonus)
• Strong debugging, systemdesign, and automation skills
• Ability to lead through influence, not just authority

4. Requisite Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing large-scale internal tools
• Bonus: Certifications in Azure Architect, Kubernetes, or DevOps

They will lead automation, enforce security/compliance in pipelines, and drive platform standardization.
