We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer with expertise in .NET to join our agile scrum team. This role focuses on building and maintaining test automation frameworks and strategies to ensure the quality and performance of a modern API integration service hosted in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of scalable and reliable test automation frameworks using .NET technologies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to test strategies, test cases, and automation plans
  • Perform automated testing for APIs, focusing on REST API validation and integration scenarios
  • Assist in executing regression, functional, performance, and end-to-end testing using automated tools
  • Participate in quality assurance efforts during agile, sprint-based development cycles
  • Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with the development team on resolutions
  • Contribute to integrating automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor and analyze automated testing results, sharing insights with the team
  • Write and review test scripts to ensure quality and readability
  • Document automation frameworks and test strategies to support team processes

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Test Automation roles
  • Proficiency in .NET technologies and C# for building test automation solutions
  • Understanding of API testing methodologies, focusing on RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and basic knowledge of test automation in platforms like AWS
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and test management tools like Jira
  • Exposure to creating automated tests for performance, regression, and end-to-end scenarios
  • Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills to address test failures within codebases
  • Ability to write maintainable and modular test scripts
  • Knowledge of agile development workflows and experience contributing to sprint-based delivery teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B1+ level

Nice to have
  • Experience with tools or frameworks for API management and monitoring
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant architecture projects
  • Awareness of performance testing frameworks or tools like JMeter
