Lead Automation Engineer Were looking for a strategic thinker who can see the big picture of quality from code to deployment and knows how to architect, implement, and scale automation that makes releases faster, safer, and smarter.
This isn't just about writing tests.
It's about owning the automation vision: choosing the right tools, building frameworks from the ground up, integrating them into CI/CD, and staying ahead of the curve with the latest in AI-driven testing.
If you've implemented Playwright from scratch, thrive in tackling complex challenges without needing hand-holding, and get excited about what's next in test automation, you might be the person we're looking for.
What You'll Be Doing Architect and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript) Test React apps, backend services (.NET or Rust), and desktop clients Build clean, reliable, reusable test frameworks from the ground up Design and execute test cases for both core product requirements and tricky edge cases Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or GitHub Actions) Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA to boost coverage and release speed Explore and experiment with emerging AI testing tools to push automation forward Be the go-to authority for automation best practices across the team What We're Looking For Strategic mindset you think beyond the next ticket and plan for scalability Proven track record of implementing Playwright from zero Deep understanding of automation principles and frameworks Experience with CI/CD pipelines Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable navigating challenges independently Continuous learner who keeps up with the latest in testing and tooling Experience in Gaming or Infinite Canvas apps (Miro, Figma, etc.) Nice to Have GitLab experience TypeScript expertise Rust and/or C#/.
NET experience Exposure to AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot for testing) Background in 3D apps (WebGL, , or game engines) Familiarity with CAD or engineering tools (Revit, Rhino, etc.) If you're ready to lead automation strategy, experiment with the future of testing, and ship better products faster, we'd love to hear from you.
