We are seeking a highly qualified Data Scientist focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our technology team. The environment is relaxed and lively, with daily learning opportunities through developing large projects for major clients worldwide.

You will design and implement intelligent systems using classical and advanced Machine Learning (ML) techniques, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on data exploration, model building and evaluation, and deploy AI solutions in production environments, from cloud platforms to embedded devices.

Location & Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid opportunity in Curitiba-PR and Sorocaba-SP, with 2 to 3 days per week onsite.
  • Mandatory English proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop AI-driven software using ML models.
  • Explore and clean large datasets, perform feature engineering, and conduct statistical analysis.
  • Apply supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning methods.
  • Utilize algorithms like XGBoost, K-means, PCA, Neural Networks, GANs, Reinforcement Learning, and LLMs.
  • Perform data augmentation and regularization for images, time series, tabular data, and natural language.
  • Train, tune, evaluate, and document ML models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
  • Prepare models for deployment across various environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate models into architecture and data pipelines.
  • Write technical reports and stay updated on AI/ML trends.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning within a Scrum team.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced English skills (spoken and written, technical level).
  • Proven experience with building, training, and validating ML and AI models.
  • Experience handling complex, heterogeneous data.
  • Strong Python programming skills (experience with Scala, R, PySpark is a plus).
  • Experience with AI frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Caffe.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, statistics, regression, decision trees, neural networks.
  • Experience with time series, computer vision, and NLP.
  • Familiarity with Data Lake environments: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Knowledge of automated and white-box testing.
Nice To Have
  • Experience with LLMs, federated learning, GPU acceleration.
  • Deployment experience on embedded or edge devices.
  • Knowledge of MLOps and production model lifecycle.
  • Experience working with international or distributed teams.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with international projects.
  • Advanced English for collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently in remote/distributed settings.
