Role Overview

Are you someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, compassionate environment? As an Estate Planning Paralegal you'll be part of a remote, collaborative team that values empathy, precision, and proactive communication. Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (USA)

Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Monitoring the paralegal inbox and direct correspondence appropriately.
• Researching property deeds and preparing files for attorney consultations
• Drafting client emails, follow-up letters, Zoom recordings, and statutory forms.
• Reviewing and editing client drafts, templates, and signing instructions.
• Collaborating with the drafting team to ensure efficient file handling.
• Coordinating with the in-house notary on document status and mailings.
• Preparing closing documents and managing client mailings.
• Maintaining fiduciary records and responding to client document requests.
• Tracking requested edits and preferences for drafting and fiduciary language.
• Researching charity information and maintaining relevant drafting files.
• Contacting clients for follow-ups, edits, or additional needs with warmth and professionalism.

What We're Looking For:

• At least two to three years of experience in the legal field, preferably in estate planning
• Experience working as a paralegal
• Experience drafting estate planning documents using customized templates.
• English fluency required with strong writing, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
• Proficiency in estate planning software
• Effective time management in a remote setting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Compassionate and patient, especially with the Special Needs community.
• Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
• Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
