This role supports a premier financial institution across retail branch locations in Northern Virginia and Washington DC area, with a preference for residence in Arlington, VA for centralized portfolio management. The Senior Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for assigned sites and provide leadership to service providers in a Retail environment, ensuring service delivery per Service Level Agreements and KPIs. The role collaborates with the Regional Manager and Corporate Real Estate team to deliver quality facility management services and manages the portfolio in accordance with local, state and federal requirements. The role also manages all lines of business and third-party relationships for the assigned buildings.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain interface with third-party owners (landlords), ensuring lease compliance, accurate reporting, and resolution of critical tenant-relations issues.
  • Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures, including policy application and program coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations governing facilities managed on behalf of the client as owner.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Client Branch Managers and Operations teams.
  • Act as primary interface with client representatives, collaborating to determine client expectations and ensuring delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee multiple facilities across the region with a portfolio spanning Northern Virginia and Washington DC area.
  • Inspect buildings to ensure high quality in building services; conduct monthly onsite facilities inspections and annual capital planning condition assessments for the portfolio (approximately 50 - 60 retail sites).
  • Assist Regional Manager with regional inspections at other Mid-Atlantic areas as needed.
  • Manage third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties; supervise vendor performance during normal, off-hours and weekends when necessary.
  • Support Regional Manager in bidding and contracting for operational maintenance and project services to support growth.
  • Realign portfolio as needed based on client expansion and portfolio needs.
  • Prepare, submit and manage facility budgets aligned to client goals; track variances and support smooth recovery processes.
  • Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from third-party tenants occupying space within owned premises.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices; knowledge of Excel and data analysis.

Compensation and Location

Estimated compensation: 110,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year. Location: Remote – Alexandria, VA, Washington, DC.

This range is an estimate; final compensation will consider qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
