Job Title: Senior Facilities Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing facilities across the Northern Virginia and Washington DC area.

The role involves providing leadership and direction to service providers in delivering services in a retail environment. The Senior Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for assigned sites, ensuring total contract compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolving critical impact tenant relations issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain interface with third-party owners (landlords), ensuring total contract (lease) compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolve critical impact tenant relations issues
  • Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures including application of policies and programs, coordination of information
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of the client as owner
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client branch managers and operations teams
  • Primary interface with client representatives. Collaborate to determine client expectations. Ensure delivery of committed services and overall satisfaction with performance
  • Oversee multiple facilities across the region in different functionalities
  • Inspect buildings routinely to guarantee that building services are at the highest level of quality standards
  • Conduct monthly onsite facilities inspections; or more as needed for assigned portfolio approximately 50 - 60 retail sites
  • Assist regional manager with occasional regional inspections at other mid-Atlantic areas within client portfolio
  • Manage third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties
  • Supervise vendor performance during normal and off-hours, including weekends when necessary
  • Support regional manager to bid and contract for operational maintenance and project services as needed with a fast market expansion
  • Portfolio realignment may be needed based on client expansion and portfolio management needs
  • Prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets with clients' goals and objectives addressed, track variances, and ensure smooth recovery process
  • Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from third-party tenants occupying space with the accounts-owned premises
