ABAP Classic Developer - Key Skills Required

Must have English advanced and Spanish basic. Technical experience with SAP ECC, strong experience with SAP PI/PO interfaces (New, Enhancements, Remediation and Break fixes), integration with other applications than SAP, Brazilian and Argentina SAP Localization knowledge, experience with Upgrade, Implementation and Rollout Projects.

Good to have experience working with multiple teams in different regions. Experience with SAP DRC. NFe knowledge and enhancements to supply processes. Previous functional experience with SAP MM, SD/OTC.

SN Key responsibilities/Expectations from the Role

• Prepare Technical Specification documents as per Functional Specifications provided by Functional Consultants.
• Review Functional Specifications and peer review of Technical Specifications prepared by other Technical Consultants.
• Perform code reviews before delivery of new development and suggest best practices as per quality guidelines.
• Support SAP Upgrade projects by creating objects and manual steps.
• Implement and suggest SAP ABAP best practices to improve quality of design and build.
• Develop interfaces and integrate SAP with allied systems (RFCs, ALE/IDocs, EDI, Webservices, FTP, SFTP, PI/PO, etc.).
• Monitor integration system activities (PI/PO) including scalability, availability and archiving.
• Develop conversion programs to upload/download data.
• Analyze and implement business-critical enhancements using best practices and techniques.
• Develop web portals using WebDynpro and Webservices techniques.
• Analyze problem records and non-replicable issues using deep debugging of standard SAP transactions.
• Develop REST and SOAP based web services.
• Understand business requirements from functional consultants and customers.
• Understand processes of logistics modules like SD/MM/FICO.
• Develop, code, document and execute unit, system, integration and acceptance tests; use testing tools for high-complexity functions.
• Perform performance tuning to improve performance across functions; engage other technical team members in design, delivery and deployment of solutions.
• Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities; provide consulting on new and existing initiatives.
• Work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability; exercise substantial autonomy; plan own work to meet objectives.
• Influence team and specialist peers; perform a broad range of complex technical or professional work; investigate, define and resolve complex problems.
• Communicate fluently orally and in writing; present complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences; facilitate collaboration between stakeholders with common objectives.
• Rapidly absorb new technical information and apply it effectively; have a good appreciation of the wider field of information systems and their relation to business activities.
• Experience in a Professional Pharmacy and Manufacturing company is an asset.
