Position Summary: This role is the primary contact for IT-related activities at the site, supporting multiple stakeholders including operations, HR, facilities, and safety. Responsibilities include data analysis, database management, hardware/software support, project support, and serving as the network POC for IT.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manipulate data for operational insights.
  • Create tools, macros, etc., for local teams.
  • Manage and create databases as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through technical solutions.
  • Support ad hoc requests.
  • Own local IT equipment and requests.
  • Act as the primary IT contact for systems issues.
  • Serve as IT POC for on-site projects.
  • Manage asset tracking and management.
  • Coordinate updates, testing, and support for IT systems and software for Campus and Transportation.
  • Support equipment setup.
  • Act as a functional IT stakeholder for senior leadership.

Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office Programs
  • Database experience
  • EAM knowledge is a plus

Skills:

  • Macro and tool creation using various programs.

Abilities:

  • Work in a warehouse environment.
  • Work schedule as needed to perform duties.
  • Proficient in computer data entry and research.
  • Motivated, self-starter, team player, with attention to detail and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Experience in a distribution environment preferred.
  • 3+ years in hardware/software systems, maintenance, and technical support.

Supervision: Routine review of work; individual contributor role, no staff management.

This position is the primary campus contact for hardware/software issues, responsible for hardware management, support, and supplies, and acts as the main IT contact during system changes, enhancements, and outages. Also the key resource for campus-specific software and database applications.
