The Work You'll Do

The Accountant is responsible for preparing standard and specialized financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, performing a variety of accounting functions, such as calculating and/or verifying amounts, posting transactions to accounts, and performing moderately complex financial analyses to summarize current and projected company financial position.

More Specifically You Will

  • Generates customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable for accuracy and payment
  • Gathers financial information on customers and prospects for credit checks; maintain credit files
  • Records vendor invoices and monitor accounts payable for accuracy and payment
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries
  • Assists in the monthly close of the company's financial statements including preparation of schedules support balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Documents and develops accounting and control procedures for overall complex accounts
  • Preparer taxes fillings and assists in financial analysis and analysis as well as monthly department reporting
  • Works with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Provides supporting documentation and analytical information for all external audits
  • Takes full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrates initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth

What We Need From You
  • BS in Accounting or Finance; CRC required
  • At least 2 years of overall accounting experience; knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in dealing with internal and external customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence and good judgment
  • Maintains a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action
  • Develops trust and models open, candid, respectful communication and collaborative teamwork
  • Demonstrates a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
