Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Brazil.
- This role will involve maintaining accurate and timely financial information through monthly closing and balance sheets using systems like Aptus and SAP.
- You will serve as the main point of contact for accounting orientation and provide excellent customer service.
- You will collaborate with colleagues from other countries to ensure payments and financial information are shared efficiently.
- You will automate accounting processes using spreadsheets and programming tools to optimize time and reduce risks.
- You will lead junior colleagues as a team leader and mentor them in their professional development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Accounting or similar with active registration (CRC).
- Excellent knowledge of local and USGAAP accounting rules.
- Experience with internal and external audit.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Proactive, easygoing, and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership experience to coach junior colleagues.
- Fluent English, both written and verbal.
