Job Description

The Financial Operations Expert plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of financial transactions and processes. This position requires a high degree of expertise in revenue recognition, financial controlling, and commercial deal support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for one of the identified regions, providing back-up coverage to other regions as required.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Contracts to ensure agreements align with established revenue recognition policies.
  • Review and approve deals to safeguard financial results, maintain compliance, and consistency with established policies.
  • Carry out tasks and assist the field sales team via the quote-to-order process in Concur Systems.
  • Review contracts and related documents to identify appropriate revenue recognition issues.
  • Provide support for Quarterly Business Reviews and quarterly/annual audits performed by internal and independent auditors.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Revenue Recognition training content and programs.
  • Drive automation of manual processes and identify/implement best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a focus on accounting topics; financial designation preferred.
  • Strong experience in Revenue Recognition, Audit, Financial Controlling, Commercial Deal Support, etc.
  • Expertise in IFRS 15 is a strong plus.
  • Strong general business acumen and ability to contribute finance expertise to address various business challenges within a complex and dynamic organization.
