Main purpose:
Support new semiconductor products from engineering stage to mass production.
Make sure the products achieve good quality, yield, and productivity.
Be the technical expert for assigned semicon wafer and assembly processes.
Main responsibilities:
Review new product designs and check whether they can be manufactured.
Develop and qualify new materials, tools, equipment, and processes.
Support processes such as Pre-assembly, Recon, RDL, and Backend.
Troubleshoot process and yield problems.
Optimize processes using DOE and JMP.
Monitor process performance using SPC.
Prepare/review FMEA, OCAP, and Control Plans.
Use 8D/root-cause analysis to solve recurring problems.
Support the transfer of products from Engineering LVM HVM.
Help reduce manufacturing costs.
Candidate requirements
Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
Ideally 6+ years of semiconductor NPI experience.
Experience in semiconductor packaging/process engineering.
Knowledge of DOE, JMP, FMEA, SPC, and 8D.
Good troubleshooting and data-analysis skills.
Good communication and ability to work independently
