Sr. Enterprise Systems Engineer

Sr. Enterprise Cloud Engineer at ABC Fitness. In this role you\'ll oversee our Azure/Intra infrastructure, focusing on performance optimization, security, and cost management. Proficiency in Azure management and Power BI will be vital to harness technology for elevating our clients\' fitness experiences.

• Design and deploy sophisticated Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) ensuring scalability, robustness, and integration across multiple Azure tenants.
• Work with core Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Apply Azure security tooling and features such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel; manage network security, identity management, threat protection, and data protection in Azure.
• Utilize Azure data services like Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks for big data analytics.
• Refine Azure resources for cost, performance, and scalability; create automations to spin resources up/down on demand.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for Azure operations and deployments; Terraform knowledge is desirable.
• Integrate Azure services with current infrastructure to support hybrid cloud functionalities.
• Provide expertise in Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and analytics.
• Lead Azure-based disaster recovery strategies and their execution.
• Experience migrating applications and data to Azure; familiarity with Azure Migrate and other migration tools.
• Familiarity with Azure AI and machine learning services (Azure Machine Learning Service, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Bot Service).
• Execute Azure VM patch management strategies.
• Assist in migrating VMs and on-premises servers/workstations to and from on-premises environments; manage cloud and on-premises server patching.
• Experience with VMware, Azure VM, AWS Virtual Cloud Services administration.
• Active Directory, DNS, DFS, Exchange Hybrid administration; support legacy on-premises enterprise applications on Windows servers.
• Participate in on-call rotation and resolve incidents during engineers\' working hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as an Azure/Intra Cloud administrator or engineer.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services, Power BI, and hybrid cloud setups.
• Proficiency in cloud security, networking, and disaster recovery methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills; leadership capabilities.
• Administrative experience in AWS is a plus.
• Storage technology experience in cloud and on-premises (e.g., Pure, Cohesity).
