SAP S/4HANA Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP S/4HANA Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of SAP S/4HANA applications through comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with developers, functional consultants and business stakeholders, including leadership and end users-to validate testing scope, system functionality and ensure alignment with business processes across all phases of an S/4HANA implementation or enhancement.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Design, develop, and support the execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically for SAP S/4HANA environments
• Perform and support all relevant testing cycles, including:
  • Baseline Testing (BLT)
  • Functional Unit Testing (FUT)
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Lead and support testing efforts during implementation phases, upgrades, and transformations
• Collaborate across multiple functional workstreams to plan and execute end-to-end (E2E) testing scenarios spanning integrated business processes
• Clearly communicate testing objectives, scope, and outcomes to business stakeholders, including explaining what is being tested, why it matters, and how testing is performed
• Partner directly with business leaders and end users to guide them through UAT
• In-depth understanding of test management tool - configuration and usage to support test planning, execution, defect tracking/documentation, and reporting
• Work closely with Data team to support data validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects
• Participate in test automation initiatives where applicable (e.g., regression automation)
• Ensure testing aligns with project timelines, deliverables, and business requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4 Hana QA/testing, implementation, conversion, or rollout projects
• Proven proficiency in all phases of the SAP Activate methodology (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run) within S/4HANA projects
• Hands-on experience executing and supporting testing cycles including BLT, FUT, SIT, and UAT in S/4HANA environments
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes within S/4HANA
• Demonstrated ability to cross-collaborate with multiple workstreams
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with business leaders and end users, clearly explaining testing initiatives and statuses
• Experience with configuration and use of test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, QTest, TestRail, OpenText)
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working across multiple functional workstreams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay)
• Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, UFT) in SAP environments
• SAP S/4HANA certification is a plus
