Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About The Role

  • Possess a general understanding of the project scope and promote integration among disciplines by facilitating technical discussions between them.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings with clients, suppliers, and engineering companies regarding scope interfaces.
  • Provide support and generate meeting minutes during technical discussions and definitions.
  • Verify all circulations of drawings/documents.
  • Ensure coherence in multidisciplinary documents.
  • Propose technical improvements and solutions.
  • Manage and track interdisciplinary pending issues and approvals.
  • Participate in and monitor activities related to SME verifications.
  • Provide technical feedback on the 3D model.
  • Prepare and present internal and external 3D design review reports.
  • Support 3D project measurements.

About You
  • 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Preference for a degree in Mechanical Engineering, though other engineering disciplines are acceptable.
  • Knowledge of processes applied to Gold, Copper, and Iron Ore projects.
  • Experience in construction, assembly, and service contracting.
  • Proactivity, ownership mindset, and clear and assertive communication.
  • Advanced English (mandatory).
  • Intermediate Spanish (desirable).
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
  • Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD / Volo View.
