Let's start with the role

Role: Junior Risk Control Analyst

You will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing all user activities (signup, payments, bonus utilization, betting, deposits, etc) to detect fraudulent activities. Your primary objective will be to ensure the integrity and security of the activities, decreasing financial losses while providing the best customer experience, keeping the company adherent to the regulatory aspects of the legislation in which we operate. This role is pivotal in upholding the trustworthiness of our operations and providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze userlows to identify potential fraudulent activities;
  • Utilize fraud detection tools and techniques to identify suspicious patterns or behaviors and promptly investigate and escalate any potential fraud incidents;
  • Receive from internal and external teams cases related to potential fraud;
  • Deep-dive on potential fraudulent situations to understand behaviour and eventual patterns to identify fraudulent activity;
  • Monitor dashboards to identify potential fraudulent situations;
  • Create rules to trigger alerts that will help us identify potential fraudulent situations;
  • Monitor the efficiency of the created rules.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related fields
  • Experience in fraud prevention preferable in the online gaming/betting industry is a plus
  • Good knowledge of sportsbook & casino products
  • Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with anti-money laundering and know your customer principles
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good verbal and written communication in English
  • Excellent knowledge of Power BI or Tableau are a plus
  • SQL and Python are a plus
