What You'll Be Doing:

  • Customer Quality & Technical Support
    • Monitor the Quality Management System to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle, from development through serial production
    • Coordinate customer technical assistance activities, including customer visits and containment actions when required
    • Lead corrective action activities and Quality Alert processes using cross-functional teams
    • Ensure the effective use of problem-solving methodologies and quality tools to achieve sustainable corrective actions
    • Monitor field performance, warranty data, customer complaints, and TPPA results to drive continuous improvement
    • Lead Kaizen initiatives focused on quality improvement, waste reduction, and defect prevention
    • Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities to improve process capability
    • Participate in customer audits and demonstrate compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
    • Present Action Plans and 8D reports to customers and stakeholders
    • Perform teardown analysis and technical investigations related to customer claims and warranty returns
  • Supplier Quality Management
    • Develop and monitor APQP and PPAP activities for suppliers
    • Perform supplier qualification, validation, and process audits
    • Manage supplier quality performance using established metrics and scorecards
    • Implement supplier development and recovery programs for underperforming suppliers
    • Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions
    • Coordinate incoming inspection activities and supplier corrective actions
    • Monitor engineering changes and supplier readiness activities
    • Conduct supplier visits to verify corrective actions and process improvements
    • Support Supplier Day activities and supplier performance reviews
  • Continuous Improvement & Quality Systems
    • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve PPM performance, and strengthen process capability
    • Lead root cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving methodologies
    • Monitor and maintain quality performance indicators
    • Support the implementation of quality improvement projects and Lean initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, IATF 16949, and internal quality standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or related environments
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and AIAG Core Tools
  • Experience with customer and supplier quality management processes
  • Knowledge of automotive quality systems and IATF 16949 requirements
  • Ability to perform audits, investigations, and corrective action management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English proficiency preferred

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with Failure Analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DOE, Six Sigma)
  • Experience in Kaizen and Continuous Improvement programs
  • Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation
  • Experience with Poka-Yoke and Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Experience as an internal, supplier, or customer auditor
  • Knowledge of CQI standards and customer-specific requirements
