Job Description

As a Sr. UX Designer for John Deere Financial located in Indaiatuba/SP, you will support projects of moderate and high complexity through the development of User Interaction task flows, wireframes, prototypes through to final production for new and existing products. As a senior designer, you are expected to own the user experience in your product areas and also contribute to internal UX team operations. Additionally, you are responsible for:

Main Responsibilities

• UX design activities like creating information architecture, delivery mockup-ups and interactive prototypes;
• Ensuring your work aligns with the design vision and user journey for our customer, dealer, and/or internal user ecosystems;
• Conducting design and research workshops with stakeholder groups;
• Creatively addressing complex applications, impediments, and user journeys;
• Collaborating with UX researchers on product discovery, design validation, first click testing, usability testing, interviews, and surveys;
• Presenting your design vision and recommendations to colleagues, management, and executives;
• Working with engineering peers to ensure successful implementation of designs;
• Establishing and monitoring actionable measures of success;
• Partnering with the IT UX Design Ops team to leverage and contribute to our John Deere's Design System;
• Mentoring and coaching other team members.

What Skills You Need

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Design, Marketing or related disciplines;
• Advanced English: wide vocabulary, good grammar, conducting meetings, arguing, negotiating and training;
• Experience in the UX industry;
• Experience planning, executing and analyzing UX / UI design projects, with a focus on user-centric solutions;
• Visual interface design, as applied to web and mobile formats;
• Experience applying User-Centered Design principles to complex interface problems;
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as: engineering, software development, marketing, and business leaders;
• Experience of communicating research methodology, design concepts, data analysis, and test results to a broad range of stakeholders;
• Experience with technology and product development processes;
• Proficiency with a design and rapid-prototyping tools, such as Sketch or Figma;
• Experience creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes;
• Experience incorporating branding and common design system components and guidelines into product experiences;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and an ability to lead conversations, direct work for others, and diffuse conflicts;
• Understanding of accessibility design and guidelines.

• A strong portfolio of UI visual design, task flows, and designing to solve user problems;
• Experience using UX metrics and a user-centered design process to provide insights to product engineering groups;
• Experience applying design principles in terms of user flows, accessibility, visual hierarchy, and brand influence;
• Demonstrated ability to utilize prototyping, user flows, storyboards and/or existing research to provide insights to design ahead of high-fidelity design delivery;
• Capacity to lead design discussions and influence stakeholders;
• Strong familiarity with incorporating branding and common design system components and guidelines into product experiences.
