We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Lead CIAM Developer to improve and update our existing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solution.

This role involves addressing technical challenges, providing design recommendations, and managing end-to-end implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality software solutions for both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, scrum masters, and engineers to define requirements, develop strategies, and ensure solutions align with business objectives
  • Participate in code reviews, foster knowledge sharing, and promote a culture of security and code quality within the team
  • Apply secure coding practices to safeguard sensitive data, mitigate vulnerabilities, and ensure robust security in software solutions
  • Implement unit testing practices to enhance code reliability, readability, and maintainability
  • Develop solutions that balance usability with security, ensuring user-friendly interfaces while maintaining scalability and strong security measures
  • Stay updated on CIAM trends, standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and best practices to inform development strategies

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
  • At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams
  • Strong expertise in the CIAM domain with technical proficiency in customer access management, including SSO, session and token management, OIDC, FIDO, RBA, and MFA
  • Experience with SAP Customer Data Cloud (formerly Gigya) is preferred, but expertise with other CIAM platforms such as Auth0, Okta, or ForgeRock is also acceptable
  • Familiarity with API Gateways, including Apigee
  • Solid understanding and experience with major cloud providers, preferably AWS
  • Proficiency in modern engineering practices such as unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have
  • Experience with MFA solutions, including Passkeys, FIDO, or WebAuthN
  • Knowledge of implementing Social Login for user authentication
  • Familiarity with APIs and system integrations
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Git for version control and team collaboration
