Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems
  • Optimizing queries and ensuring database performance
  • Managing database security, integrity, and recovery processes
  • Supporting cross-functional teams with database integrations
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues
  • Written and verbal English communication
  • Problem-solving and teamwork
Qualifications
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar RDBMS platforms
  • SQL programming and database schema design
  • Backup and recovery strategies for enterprise databases
  • Database performance tuning and monitoring
  • Cross-functional database integration and collaboration
Bonus points
  • Cloud-based database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Knowledge of replication, clustering, and high-availability setups
  • Familiarity with database security and compliance standards
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale data infrastructure
