RADCOM is a leading expert in automated service assurance solutions for telecom operators running 5G/4G networks. Empowering operators with the ability to navigate network complexity, save costs, and drive revenue growth, all while delivering exceptional customer experiences for subscribers.
The deployment engineer is responsible for integration and implementation of RADCOM solution within our customers' virtual, physical, and cloud-based environments. The engineer will be actively involved with the different aspects of RADCOM solution integration and will work in partnership with multiple departments and functions within the organization.
The engineer shall be viewed by the customer as the Subject Matter Expert for instantiating, configuring, administrating, testing and maintaining the RADCOM solution.
Deployment engineer will also be in involved with customer support escalation of operational issues and will work closely with the customer and partners in a dynamic versatile environment with cutting-edge technologies.
Requirements
• Expert level experience with Cloud native technologies. Deep knowledge and Hands on experience on the AWS cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD processes, Preferably from Telecom Industry.
• Expert level experience in Kubernetes
• Knowledge in Linux and shell scripting
• Understanding and experience in networking and network troubleshooting at all layers
• Experience with 5G Wireless core and IMS core, RAN, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software Defined Networks (SDN)- An advantage
• Experience with database and analytics- An advantage
**The position may require occasional travels to the US
Responsibilities
• Interact and engage with customers' personnel handling lab integration, field deployment and operation of RADCOM's system, as well as end users, to assure optimal usability of the RADCOM solution and the highest level of customer satisfaction. He/she will attend daily/weekly meetings with customers and RADCOM internal resources.
• Take active role in deployment of MOP planning, writing, testing and execution.
• Handle service request and change requests; be involved in tracking and certifying service tickets till resolution.
• Support escalations and issues diagnosis.
• Work in partnership with internal resources, such as Project Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Product Management and System Architects to push the integration through its phases. He/She will enable the solution in the lab, troubleshoot any issues during integration and will stay actively involved during the production phase as new features and versions are released.
• Take active role in defining and executing test plans by writing test objects and detailed test plan description, followed by hands-on execution of the test cases in a lab environment while documenting all activity and results.
• Be involved in user training and coach customer's users, operations and lab personnel about aspects relating to RADCOM technology, solution components or its infrastructure.
