Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Planning Functional Advisor to support a large-scale planning transformation initiative within one of the world's most innovative technology companies. This is a strategic and hands-on role that bridges deep planning expertise with technical solution design and development. You'll act as a subject matter expert supporting cross-functional teams, including data science and optimization engineers, with a strong focus on business context, usability, and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a functional advisor to internal development teams focused on next-gen planning solutions
  • Guide system and process improvements based on operational supply chain experience
  • Translate complex planning requirements into detailed use cases, flows, and technical opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with technical and optimization teams (including Gurobi-based engines)
  • Provide business validation for end-to-end planning—from finished goods to component-level
  • Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to identify pain points and co-create solutions
  • Remain current on global best practices in planning and use them to benchmark strategies
  • Support tool refinement in demand, supply, and network planning modules
  • Mentor new team members as the engagement expands
Required Qualifications
  • End-to-end supply chain experience, with focus on demand, supply, or S&OP
  • Direct experience leading planning operations or optimization initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of planning process interdependencies in global supply chains
  • Strong collaboration experience with data science and optimization teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Gurobi or similar optimization engines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Must be willing to work onsite if required by the client (remote option under evaluation)
