About this roleThis position plays a key role in managing supply chain operations, ensuring optimal product availability, asset utilization and supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for balancing supply and demand across multiple production sites or regions, maintaining strong linkages with demand managers and finance teams.
Develops tactical plans for assigned plants, ensuring conformance to schedule and labor/capacity plans. Communicates and implements these plans effectively, driving customer service delivery.
Supports new item introductions, ensuring product availability for all customers, and manages item discontinuations to mitigate obsolescence.
Ensures strategic and tactical business decisions are made with a full understanding of current and future supply chain capabilities, potential impacts on service, cost, working capital and sustainability.
Manages inventory levels to target expectations and customer service agreements.
Establishes safety stock targets and manages supply plans against those targets.
Provides guidance to new team members and communicates complex information effectively.
Resolves issues or exceptions outside business rules/boundaries and intervenes when needed to address performance gaps.
Assesses short-term feasibility requests from various locations.
Maintains and coordinates maintenance of planning parameters according to master data governance.
Drives continuous improvement by periodically reviewing and providing recommendations to enhance the distribution network and manufacturing strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred.
Fluent English required.
Minimum 3 years experience in Planning Process and/or warehouse management.
Sense of negotiation.
Desirable qualifications include experience working with global teams.
