- Establish, maintain, and reconcile various Accounts Receivables including Payroll AR and Property Damage
- Serve as a subject matter expert and tester for Accounts Receivable system processes
- Develop and update desk procedures and workflows
- Train other professional staff as needed
- Participate in various accounting-related projects as directed
- Must be eligible for appointment and have authorization to work in the United States
- Background investigation clearance required before hire
- Completion of minimum qualifications as specified in the Class Specification for Senior Accounting Officer (Specialist)
- Ability to demonstrate relevant experience on the Examination/Employment Application (STD. 678)
- Experience in an accounting role within a government or public service environment
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable systems and processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and training abilities
