What is the scope of this role?

This position is primarily responsible for acting as the Technical Team Lead for the Netcracker Development team, enhancing the relationship with the client and other vendors.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Technical Lead for Development Team.
  2. Escalation point of contact for Netcracker Technical management teams.
  3. Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects and guide them through the entire lifecycle.
  4. Develop tools and ensure processes are followed to secure code quality and improve productivity.
  5. Ensure cross communication between our Engineering team.
  6. Ensure standard processes are followed between programs.
  7. Participate in roadmap discussions with the customer and NC to ensure performance & scalability of the solution.
  8. Participate in code and design reviews.
  9. Provide technical design and understanding of the work being delivered.
  10. Communicate timeline impacts to Program and Project Management teams.
  11. Understand the delivered solution and discuss functionality and impact analysis of delivered artifacts.
  12. Participate in the selection of new resources.

Experience And Requirements

  1. Experience managing development teams.
  2. Coding experience in one or more high-level programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C, C++).
  3. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in software development activities.
  4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  5. Customer relationship management.
  6. Strong familiarity with source code management systems.
  7. Experience with Continuous Integration, Configuration Management, Agile and iterative processes.
  8. UML experience, with SOA, TDD, Principles.
  9. Development process organization.
  10. Design reviews.
  11. Fluent in both English and Portuguese.
  12. Availability to work from the office in a hybrid mode.
  13. Previous experience working with Telecoms or IT Integration companies is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
