- Register invitations to participate in competitive bidding processes in the database, ensuring traceability and a complete history of each proposal in the computerized system;
- Organize, print, and compile invitation documents, prepare the technical dossier, and forward it, together with the pricing spreadsheet, to the coordination team for analysis and validation;
- Formally confirm, via email, receipt of all information and documents sent by suppliers and clients;
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals in accordance with the Invitation to Bid, ensuring the complete submission of all documentation required by each client;
- Issue standard letters requesting extensions to proposal submission deadlines and/or declining invitations, whenever necessary;
- Perform quantity takeoffs based on architectural and complementary design plans, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines;
- Conduct critical analyses of designs, identifying risks, inconsistencies, scope deviations, and potential impacts on costs and schedules;
- Support the preparation, review, and validation of budgets, ensuring technical, financial, and contractual compliance;
- Act as an interface with the Design, Planning, and Construction teams to align and clarify technical information;
- Use BIM tools, primarily Revit, to extract, verify, and validate quantities;
- Provide occasional support to the Construction team by participating in technical site inspections when requested.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience with quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates;
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural and complementary design plans;
- Strong critical design analysis skills, with practical field awareness;
- Knowledge of Revit for quantity takeoff support;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Practical construction experience is an advantage;
- Knowledge of design coordination is an advantage;
- Experience with BIM methodology applied to cost estimating is an advantage.
