Job Overview

Our JWF Specialty team is hiring a Complex Claims Liability Specialist. JWF is a leading Third-Party Administrator in the Midwest providing customized claims programs, managed care solutions, and analytics to clients who prefer service-first partnerships. JWF handles claims services for self-insured, high-deductible programs, captives, programs and pools for all property and casualty lines. What You'll Do

The Senior Claims Liability Specialist is responsible for all functions related to the adjustment of Public Entity/Commercial liability claims. You must be able to work autonomously, prioritize responsibilities, evaluate complex coverage issues, manage a multi-faceted claim caseload, and meet client service expectations.

What You'll Bring
  • Moderate to complex loss adjustment including coverage investigations, analysis, and evaluation of liability, damages, and monetary exposures
  • Detailed and advanced coverage review and analysis of Commercial Excess Policies and MOCs
  • Communicate and coordinate with self-insured clients, carriers, reinsurers, SIR program administrators
  • Litigation management
  • Participate in claim reviews with clients, program administrators, carriers
  • Attend claim review meetings and mediations with clients and carriers; site investigations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent and/or comparable industry experience
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and analyze Commercial P&C coverage
  • Minimum eight (8) years Commercial Liability claims experience related to Auto, General Liability, and Professional Lines liability claims (Employment Practices, Civil Rights, School Board Legal, Law Enforcement, Employee Benefits); ideally with Public Entity liability claims
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Current Indiana adjuster license or qualified to acquire, and any other state licenses as needed
Compensation

The national average salary for this role is $85,000.00–$105,000.00 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while considering internal equity and market data.
