The Complex Claims Liability Specialist is responsible for the adjustment of Public Entity/Commercial liability claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Moderate to complex loss adjustment including coverage investigations, analysis, and evaluation of liability, damages, and monetary exposures.
- Detailed and advanced coverage review and analysis of Commercial Excess Policies and MOCs.
- Communicate and coordinate with self-insured clients, carriers, reinsurers, SIR program administrators.
- Litigation management.
- Participate in claim reviews with clients, program administrators, carriers.
- Attend claim review meetings and mediations with clients and carriers; site investigations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or comparable industry experience.
- Minimum eight (8) years Commercial Liability claims experience related to Auto, General Liability, and Professional Lines liability claims (Employment Practices, Civil Rights, School Board Legal, Law Enforcement, Employee Benefits); ideally with Public Entity liability claims.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Current Indiana adjuster license or qualified to acquire, and any other state licenses as needed.
