Overview

We are seeking a strategically focused Tax Manager to lead our tax team in Brazil. This position is essential for ensuring tax compliance across multiple legal entities and subsidiaries, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting high-impact projects, such as tax reform. This professional's mission will be to act as a technical and strategic reference in the tax area, leading a dedicated team and collaborating with key areas of the company to ensure tax excellence, legal compliance, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 professionals, fostering high performance and technical growth;
  • Ensure the accurate calculation and reporting of direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, ICMS-ST), for both legal and corporate purposes;
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation, including the implementation of tax reform;
  • Manage tax risks and provide advisory support for business initiatives;
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify tax optimization opportunities;
  • Manage tax audits and interactions with government authorities;
  • Define and implement tax policies and strategies aligned with the group;
  • Work on international taxation and transfer pricing issues, in alignment with OECD guidelines;
  • Collaborate with areas such as Finance, Legal, and the global tax team to ensure an integrated approach.
To succeed, you will need

Requisites:

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g. post graduation in tax) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CTA, CRC) preferred;
  • Experience: Solid experience in tax management, with a strong focus on Brazilian tax laws and regulations. Knowledge of international tax principles and tax compliance obligations is a plus ;
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a large team effectively ;
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Portuguese and English;
  • Ethics: Strong ethical standards and integrity in managing sensitive financial information.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills;
  • Proficiency in SAP, tax software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of taxation;
  • Hands on approach with ability to structure complexities.

Job location

Hybrid work model: This opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to combine remote and in-person work located in Barueri. It\'s important to note that the office is expected to move to Itu in 2027.
