Tax Specialist Leader

Job Summary:
The Tax Manager role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company's tax position.
Key responsibilities include managing direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning to ensure compliance with current legislation and optimize the tax burden.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns, including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etc.
- Monitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met.
- Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.
- Analyze changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning.
- Knowledge in Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must liaise with global teams.
