Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Tax Manager to manage direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning, ensuring compliance with current legislation and the optimization of the tax burden. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing tax compliance processes and working closely with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met.
- Preparing and filing all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etc.
- Monitoring tax audits and responding to federal, state, and municipal tax authorities, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Analyzing changes in tax legislation and assessing potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law, or an advanced degree or CPA certification.
- Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning.
- Knowledge in Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders.
You will need to be fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency) and English (written & spoken) to liaise with global teams.
