Real Estate Tax Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Tax Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our organization, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our studies meet U.S. tax law and IRS compliance standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing engineering work for accuracy, collaborating with other accountants, and addressing tax considerations for clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Review: Confirm all classifications comply with the U.S. tax code and IRS Cost Seg Audit Guide (training provided).
  • Pre-Review: Review client/property details before engineering begins to guide the project accurately.
  • Classify: Categorize and reconcile the work done on a property based on data provided by clients.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members across departments to ensure smooth project progress and address any issues promptly.

Requirements include expertise in real estate taxes, accelerated depreciation, and real estate investing. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
