Netrix Global is looking for a AWS Data Engineer for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. The Data Engineer acts as a critical member of the data science team, researching, building, and designing AI systems for machine learning, and maintaining and improving existing AI systems. The role often involves acting as a key communicator between data scientists and the people who construct and run AI systems.

The Team
  • Remote-based collaboration with a strong team and opportunities to expand skillsets across multiple parts of the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Identifying, creating, and preparing data required for modern data solutions and AI workloads.
  • Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.
  • Designing, building, and managing data lake architectures.
  • Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc.).
  • Integrating and testing data solutions; creating and documenting tests to meet requirements.
  • Working with Big Data environments; managing data cloud services, data access, security, and data governance.
  • Analyzing and preparing data for machine learning workloads; monitoring and logging applications and services.
What You Will Bring To The Table
  • Experience in Data Engineer/Architect roles with ETL, data preparation & ingestion, data streaming.
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS) for at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge of Python, R or other data processing tools.
  • Intermediate/Upper English level.
  • Experience with Apache Spark.
  • Experience using AWS Data services: S3, AWS Glue, Athena, SageMaker, etc.
  • Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines).
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Location

Argentina (any part of the country is great for us).

Shift

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
