What Your New Challenge Will Look Like

As a Supply Chain Optimization Analyst, you will be part of a team to drive the design of global supply chain networks, with particular emphasis on Europe and the US, and bring your expertise in data-driven insights to optimize cost, service levels, and operational efficiency.

  • Collect and analyze large data sets on transportation flows, demand patterns, and warehouse capacities.
  • Leverage tools such as Excel and Power BI (or comparable data analytics software) to generate actionable insights.
  • Apply basic scripting skills (Python or R) for data wrangling and advanced analytics.
  • Develop strategic network designs to balance costs and service requirements.
  • Validate and refine model outputs through scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
  • Communicate technical findings and project statuses to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

  • Advanced Excel expertise in large-scale data analysis, data quality control, solution modeling, and concept validation.

  • Enjoys working in teams, open to contributing to group problem-solving.
  • Able to adapt to changing project needs and deliver consistent results.
  • Capable of presenting technical results to peers and managers.
  • Desirable:
  • First experience in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
  • Background in transport logistics or other supply chain related areas
  • Exposure to optimization tools or methods (linear programming, heuristic modeling, etc.)
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Work, internship, or project experience in data analytics, supply chain, or network modeling
  • Prior international exposure (study abroad, global team collaboration) is a plus
