Offer Description
Applications are now open for a post-doctoral scholarship under the Thematic Project entitled "Implementation research of curriculum innovation, pedagogical strategies, and emerging technologies for quality-equity in basic education", linked to the Alfredo Bosi Chair in Basic Education, based at the University of São Paulo's Institute of Advanced Studies (IEA-USP) in Brazil. The aim is to select young doctors to carry out research and teaching activities related to the research line "Theoretical foundations and evaluation of the implementation of innovative curricular components in undergraduate programmes at USP". This line seeks to consolidate a theoretical-methodological framework and investigate practices for integrating concepts such as inter-transdisciplinarity, transversality, pluri-epistemicity, ethnodiversity and decolonialities into teacher training. Focusing especially on the natural sciences, the project examines the epistemological foundations of curriculum integration, assesses its feasibility in USP's undergraduate programmes and explores innovative strategies for teacher training.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
