Senior Data Engineer

sWhat you’ll do

The Sr. Data Engineer role at our MNC involves designing developing and maintaining data integration solutions using Unix Shell Scripting PL/SQL and Informatica PowerCenter. The candidate will work on ETL processes ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. This role requires background in data warehousing and logistics domains.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and AECORSOFT

· Design and implement Unix Shell Scripts for automating data integration tasks.

· Utilize PL/SQL for database management and data manipulation tasks.

· Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements for data warehousing projects.

· Implement data warehousing concepts to optimize data storage and retrieval.

· Use external schedulers to automate and manage ETL workflows.

· Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process.

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data integration issues.

· Document ETL processes and data flows for future reference and maintenance.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their data needs.

· Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.

· Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and ETL.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Possess strong experience in Unix Shell Scripting PL/SQL and Informatica PowerCenter.

· Have a solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

· Experience with external schedulers for managing ETL workflows is required.

· Knowledge of planning warehouse management warehousing and distribution outbound logistics and order domains is mandatory.

· Experience with Informatica Power Exchange Data Integration SQL Informatica CLI and Informatica Scheduler is nice to have.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong documentation skills for maintaining ETL processes and data flows.

· Ability to optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and ETL.
