Belmond has a fantastic opportunity for a Divisional Social Media Manager to join our South America team based in the São Paulo.

The primary goals of this role are strengthening the region’s social presence, personality and social channel quality, increasing awareness of the region’s products and Belmond brand across social media, increasing online traffic to the Belmond site, employing analytical rigor in the development and optimization of new social strategies and maximizing profitability from social media. This position will liaise with the Media team in London, local Social Media teams, PR, HR, Operations, Sales and various others as needed to ensure that Belmond’s social media presence in North America is representative of the company’s values, processes and standards
- ** MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working closely with the local product teams on the content planning / creation /grid aesthetics for all properties within the South America region in line with the brand vision, editorial lines and local activations.
- Own planning, execution and scheduling of owned social media posts on the South America channels (IG, Facebook and LinkedIn) working with property teams. Will have sole posting, content creation responsibility for one property.
- Increase awareness of Belmond as a luxury brand through exceptional storytelling.
- Work with the HQ media team in London to ensure the region’s social contentcalendar is amplified through the global brand channels
- Work closely with the HQ media team to ensure that all assets are fit for format and provide an exceptional digital experience across all features of our key channels (e.g. IG - feed, stories, reels, guides etc).
- Work with the PR teams to understand local initiatives that can be amplified through social media.
- Drive traffic to the site and increase sales and brand awareness through high quality, engaging content across existing and new social media formats.
- Ensure all social media imagery, videos, descriptions and copy are in keeping with the Brand Visual Identity and tone of voice.
- Constantly test and develop content through established and new formats.
- With the help of HQ Media team, run local paid social advertising pushing specific local initiatives.
- Lead social media team base in Brazil and Peru.
- Be responsible for all social media reports and KPIs

**Requirements**:

- Worked in a social media role and can demonstrate a good level of understanding of the social media function.
- A minimum of 3-5yrs experience.
- Strong background in creating and delivering high quality social content and campaigns.
- Experience in writing creative copy and engaging social posts.
- Experience in working with and managing social influencers and content creators.
- Knowledge of strategic communications and marketing concepts, principles, and techniques.
- Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites.
- Good knowledge of Google Suites e.g. docs, sheets, slides.
- Ability to create photo and video content for social channels, with basic retouching and editing skills.
- Good commercial acumen - ability to connect social strategy to larger marketing and business goals.
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills e.g. looking at data and turning it into action.
- Quick and creative thinker.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Project management skills to implement tools, policies and processes for organizing social calendar and planning ahead.
- Computer literacy - experience with the Microsoft suite of products - ability to create Powerpoint presentations and work with Excel spreadsheets.
- An intuitive approach to daily working practices and ability to demonstrate initiative and work to tight and changing deadlines.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish
