The Senior Manager will work collaboratively with HRBPs, CoE, HROC and local management to align practices and initiatives with the Company’s strategic and operational goals. Their local HR teams are responsible for local implementation of HR processes, policies and activities across all businesses and pillars in their countries.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Champion change management across the region.
- Manages the regional HR teams in their day to day activities and responsible for their development.
- Align practices and initiatives across countries or area of responsibility to ensure operational and strategic goals are met.
- Propose ways to improve employee engagement, manages employee engagement initiatives and looks at trends across countries to ensure alignment.
- Reviews local HR practices and identifies legal responsibilities.
- Project manage regional projects and and acts as an ambassador for People Solutions.
- Drive programs and processes that support regional initiatives from employee data management, policy implementation, HR technology, and employee relations.
- Lead initiatives that support collaborative trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity.
- Partners with other Regional/Senior Managers in People Solutions, HR Service Center, and Human Resource CoE teams along with local management to implement and administer HR policies and programs.
- Provide regional compliance support for audits, policy and legislative implementation and monitoring, and local non-standard processes.
- Monitor and provides metrics for regional activities and produce status update reports on regional HR initiatives.
- Escalation point with local People Solutions teams related to employee relations, discipline investigations, employee and manager counseling and coaching, promotions, terminations, and role charter maintenance.
- Oversee talent review process and help create and assign development plans for key employees.
- Review job specifications and competency profiles to appropriately grade positions following internal policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with regional Rewards team on trends and market data for roles to ensure market competitiveness and internal parity.
- Reviews and monitors HR budgets for countries and ensures expenses are within budget.
- Provide guidance and policy interpretation on a variety of HR issues in compliance with local labor law regulations.
- Where required, work with HR managers on negotiations with local union.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Typical Background**

**Education**:
Bachlors degree or equivalent in a related discipline

**Certifications/Licensing**:
HR certification is preferred dependent on country.

**Type of Experience**:
Experience managing a team.
