**About the role**
- The Supplier/CoM Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting supplier and Co-Manufacturer audits across a large product portfolio in South LATAM supporting our chocolate, cocoa, nuts and dairy categories. The position will ensure suppliers and co-manufactures adhere to BC’s Food Safety and Quality requirements through the execution of audits, closure of NCR’s and follow up on CAPA’s.- This role will also support projects and activities targeted to improve supplier performance under the direction of the Supplier Quality & CoM Coordinator.**Key responsibilities include**:

- Responsible for executing supplier and Co-Manufacturer audits for high and medium risks and, new approvals across the South Latam region in accordance with BC’s audit plan and expectations (Approximately 75% travel).
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings and outcome to suppliers/Co-Manufacturer and internal supplier quality team.
- Based on the audit results, follow the corrective and preventive action plan needed to close the gaps, follow evidence provided by the supplier to finalize and audit closure.
- Analyze supplier and Co-Manufacturer audit trends and identify areas where we can strengthen our supplier quality requirements.
- Collaborate with sourcing and R&D on priority audits and approvals to support key business initiatives.
- Support the Supplier Quality team with projects and initiatives targeted at improving supplier/Co-Manufacturer performance and reducing quality non-conformances.
- Manage Co-Manufacturer complaints, investigation, and responses.

**About you**:

- Bachelor Degree Food Science or equivalent (Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical).
- Proven experience with Quality Assurance and Food Safety auditing experience in food/pharmaceutical/feed environment.
- HACCP / Food Safety - formal training and/or experience with implementation
- Auditing skills - Leading supplier audits, assess the imminent risks and taking decisions. Desirable a formal training and/or experience with implementation (Preferred certification Lead Auditor and/or Food Safety Auditor).
- Pre knowledge on lethality process such as roaster, pasteurizer, and sterilizer is a plus for the position.
- English - minimum Advanced, ideal Fluent (> 90% of the time).
- Spanish - intermediate (speaking and listening) due to be leading the audits across Latin America.
- GFSI certification schemes and requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Independent leading profile and taking decision.
- Desirable: FSMA (USA Food Safety Modernization Act).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading Food Safety audits.
