With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
Our team ensures Google accepts high-quality, trustworthy external legal and regulatory requests. Regulatory compliance often requires Google to provide external request channels for use by the general public (e.g. illegal content removal). Taking in these requests is operationally challenging due to the volume of users and requests, validation of users and their requests, the scale of data and technological limitations, and often limited time to adapt to new and updated regulations.
The Federated Intake and Delivery Operations team was created to take a horizontal approach to solving common needs, starting with external request intake and delivery for regulatory requests and illegal content removals.

- Drive outcomes for your team as a key contributor. Provide oversight and guidance for projects that span multiple quarters without supervision, including setting technical direction for the team.
- Make well-reasoned design judgment calls within owned scope where there is no obvious “best” solution. Assist reports in evaluating choices and weigh in on broader trade-offs for reports’ problems and solutions.
- Guide the alignment of the team's timelines, goals, and objectives with multiple adjacent teams. Actively influence team members, and develop rich relationships with adjacent teams with similar goals to align direction and help move work forward.
- Build working collaborations with cross-functional peers. Identify and share opportunities and technical or organizational context that inform cross-functional efforts.
