**Head of People and Culture for GTX at Volvo do Brazil**

**What will you be doing?**

We are looking for an experienced and customer service guided Head of People and Culture for GTx at Volvo do Brazil to carry and align our initiatives and functions with business goals and business needs. Someone passionate about people, highly engaged and knowledgeable person.
GTx means a group of areas as Group Trucks Operations (GTO), is the organization responsible for truck manufacturing and logistics within the Volvo Group, Group Trucks Technology (GTT) that provides Volvo Group Trucks and Business Area's with ultramodern research, cutting-edge engineering, product planning and purchasing services, as well as aftermarket product support and Group Trucks Purchasing (GTP) that manages supply chain partners.
The Head of People and Culture will work close to the GTx organization in Curitiba. In this position you will focus on achieving people and culture goals contributing with your solid knowledge of both current and future skills needs, to give insights and advice that sponsor strategic and tactical business choices. Furthermore, you will be a key player in developing a strong, value-based culture with high ethical standards and you will try to enhance the employee experience, both to engage current employees and to attract new talents.
You oversee core people and culture processes such as employee sourcing, succession planning, performance management, recruitment, compensation & benefits, labor relations, and strategic capabilities.

**Included in these responsibilities**:

- Play an active role on the management team to provide strategic advice, solutions, and guidance for the management with people and culture related issues.
- Lead, inspire and develop your team.
- Ensure compliance and provide guidance with labor laws, government regulations as group policies and directives.
- Supplies guidance to convert strategies into result motivated actions. In addition, it functions as liaison with other people and culture functions and internal communication.
- Check and foster talent by helping talent reviews. Plan for succession and find the values, behaviors, and skills for future managers to develop against.
- Guide the organization toward ability shift (modern technologies & ways of working), change management and continuous improvement with a structured approach.
- Supply day-to-day coaching and guidance to management at all levels to drive individual and organizational effectiveness while boosting engagement and performance.
- Serve as Engagement Ambassador and Change Manager during Employee Engagement survey and follow-up.
- Build relationships at all levels within the organization to effectively maximize employee and management involvement in driving change.
- Function as a culture champion, promoting company values to guide decision-making and drive thoughtful and effective change management ensuring organizational development solutions drive business transformation.
- Supports workforce planning and trends with people and culture recommending adjustments to the management and/or to the involved areas.
- Recommend, develop, and implement people and culture projects and programs, in its operating unit, to achieve the company's strategic aims.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

Other education, skills, and competencies you may have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field. People management qualification is highly appreciated.
- Proven track-record as a progressive people and culture manager experience across multiple people and culture combined with large complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and multicultural environments.
